It is official: the Pantone Colours of 2021 are "Ultimate Gray" and "Illuminating".

A powerful gray, which reminds us that life can be challenging, and a bright yellow to state that one can always find light, even in the darkest times.
Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Colour Institute, recently declared in a press release: “Practical and rock solid but at the same time warming and optimistic, this is a color combination that gives us resilience and hope. We need to feel encouraged and uplifted, this is essential to the human spirit.”

We like the idea of colour being able to uplift the people's spirit and empower humans' life.
